I can see that webform is creating the temp files in the tmp directory and if I grab one of those files and add the xlsx extension they open in excel, with the data, perfectly. I can download delimited text files just fine but excel & excel (old versions) files download as zero byte files. I'm experiencing a very similar problem with downloading excel files.
